Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core has insisted on placing cultural development in a prominent position in governing the country and managing state affairs. It has made a series of major deployments, promoting cultural construction to achieve historic achievements through rectifying fundamentals and innovating while preserving integrity. The building of a socialist cultural power has taken solid steps forward. General Secretary Xi Jinping has delivered a series of important speeches, issued a series of important instructions, creatively proposed a series of new ideas, new viewpoints, and new judgments, forming extremely rich theoretical achievements. In October 2023, the Party Central Committee held the National Conference on Publicity, Ideological, and Cultural Work, formally proposing and systematically elaborating Xi Jinping's Cultural Thought, raising the Party's cultural banner high on the new journey. Party committees (Party groups) at all levels must persistently use Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era to arm minds, guide practice, and promote work. They should organize Party members to earnestly read the original works, study the original texts, and comprehend the original principles, deeply learning and understanding the core essence, spiritual substance, rich connotations, and practical requirements of Xi Jinping's Cultural Thought.
