The Sichuan-East Gas Transmission Line 2 natural gas pipeline project is an important energy corridor project in the national "14th Five-Year Plan." It connects the Sichuan-Chongqing gas area, coastal LNG resources, and multiple gas transmission trunk lines in Central and East China. It is another "east-west spanning" major oil and gas energy artery following the China-Russia East Line, West Line 3 middle section, and West Line 4. After completion, this project will effectively alleviate the natural gas supply tension in central and eastern China, promote regional economic development, and optimize the energy structure.
