To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, enrich the spiritual and cultural life of all employees, promote communication among company staff, foster team spirit, and enhance cohesion, the company's Party branch, together with the company union, held the 5th "Unity Cup" Tug-of-War Competition of Shengli Xianggang on the afternoon of July 1, 2021.
A total of 8 teams participated in this competition, namely: Office Team 1, Office Team 2, Straight Seam Plant Team, Spiral Plant Team, Anti-corrosion Plant Team, Quality Inspection Team, Logistics Center Team, and Maintenance Center Team.
Each department's representative team sent their strongest lineup to compete. During the competition, every team member was full of fighting spirit, using their sweat to show us the meaning of unity. The rain could not dampen the enthusiasm of all participants! When the whistle blew, the competing team members tightly gripped the long rope and pulled with all their might. Company leaders cheered alongside the teams, and non-participating employees spontaneously formed cheering squads to encourage the competitors. The cheers echoed continuously, adding a bright spot to the competition.
To increase the fun of the competition, company executives led the middle-level managers in a friendly match. The intense competition pushed the entire event to a climax!
The participants competed fiercely in endurance, strength, and intelligence with the spirit of "striving for first place and carrying the red flag whenever seen." In the end, the Maintenance Center, Office Team 1, and Straight Seam Plant representative teams won the first, second, and third places respectively.
Through this tug-of-war competition, the team cooperation and indomitable spirit of the company employees were fully demonstrated. Especially at moments when the outcome was uncertain, everyone did not retreat, gritted their teeth, and persisted to the end. The team members on the field were all full of fighting spirit, using their sweat to tell us the meaning of unity. Their tenacious perseverance and fighting spirit moved everyone!
